This Pringles Chicken Salt Crisps forms the second of the pair mak­ing up the ‘Aussie favour­ites’ series with the Meat Pie Flavour. Before this, it had nev­er occurred to me that there was any­thing par­tic­u­larly ‘Aussie’ about chick­en salt bey­ond our love for using it to sea­son chips.

The chips are each gen­er­ously and vis­ibly seasoned with the unmis­tak­able smell of chick­en salt — the same kind you find dus­ted on thick cut chips from fish and chip stores. And they taste exactly like how they smell — like chick­en salt. There’s noth­ing fancy about these chips; they’re inof­fens­ive but they’re also not excit­ing in the least, tast­ing much like chick­en fla­voured Pringles which is about as ped­es­tri­an a chip fla­vour as you can get.
