And see­ing these ribs on the tele­vi­sion is enough to have you crav­ing them. And so we find ourselves enjoy­ing these Smith’s Summer BBQ Sweet & Sticky BBQ Ribs Flavoured Crinkle Cut Potato Chips to kerb that crav­ing without leav­ing the house.

These chips are dus­ted with a red-brown season­ing and smell like barbe­que sauce. On tast­ing, a pro­nounced sweet­ness like barbe­que sauce is evid­ent in the first bite, from which a smokey beef fla­vour emerges, much like a sweeter Worcestershire sauce, before the fla­vour of the potato fin­ishes each bite. Overall, the fla­vour of the chips does remind of sweet and sticky BBQ ribs, although we’d prefer a touch less sweet­ness and eat­ing the real deal, which is more sat­is­fy­ing.
