These are Happy Lams Cuttlefish Balls. We weren’t too impressed by their Hot Thai Fish Balls so we weren’t too keen to try these but we’re glad we did.
These cuttlefish balls have a good texture, taking on the bounce and tenderness of fresh cuttlefish, with bits of firmer flesh mixed throughout, rather than completely smooth like the Hanabi Fried Fish Balls, which have a similar texture otherwise. These cuttlefish balls also have a fuller flavour than the latter.
