Remember the deli­ciously crispy and umami-rich tem­pura crack­ers in was­abi fla­vour? These here are their coun­ter­part, Mild Salt Seaweed Tempura by Aji Ichiban.

Each piece is about 6 cm x 3 cm with tem­pura bits stick­ing to a sheet of sea­weed and lightly salted.

These crack­ers are deli­ciously rich in umami from the lightly salted sea­weed and addict­ively crunchy from the tem­pura. While the lightly salted fla­vour makes these more­ish and easi­er to eat in large servings, I do miss the extra kick that the was­abi fla­voured ones fla­voured ones added to each bite. Those packed a punch with their flavour.
