Sanpellegrino Aranciatta Rossa

When it comes to ‘fancy’ soft drinks, Sanpellegrino Aranciatta Rossa comes to mind first, having come across it when I was in primary school. There are many flavours in the Sanpellegrino range, but this is the one I see most often in Australia. It’s a soft drink made with the juice of Italian blonde and blood oranges.

The soft drink is a cloudy red-orange colour with a sweet blood orange nose and moderate carbonation. Served chilled, a sweet and intense orange flavour comes through from the first sip with the bright and slightly sharp acidic citrus notes of blood oranges emerging ahead of the refreshing sweetness of blonde oranges, leaving a refreshingly zesty citrus note lingering on the palate pleasantly. Overall, the flavour is full and well balanced, and the perfect flavoured drink for quenching thirst.

This can of Sanpellegrino Aranciatta Rossa contained 330 ml. It was bottled in Italy and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2016.
