Ying Kee Tea House Peach Oolong

After the disappointing Mango Tekannon by Ying Kee Tea House, I was curious to try the other one of their teas in my collection: Ying Kee Tea House Peach Oolong. This peach oolong is a vast improvement from the mango tekannon. For starters, the floral notes of oolong tea are present, despite the flavouring (here, peach) remaining very sweet and strong and threatening to overwhelm. The tea doesn’t have very much depth to its flavour, although that much is to be expected from an instant tea. If I’m looking for a more sophisticated flavoured oolong, I’ll have to fall back on my looseleaf teas by Lupicia.

This box of Ying Kee Tea House Peach Oolong contained 5 sachets. It was packed in Japan and purchased in Osaka, Japan in 2014
